How it works and how to install it
The KW8 limit switch has three connection terminals: a common contact, an NC (normally closed) contact, and an NO (normally open) contact. When you press the integrated button, the circuit changes — if you use NC, the circuit breaks when pressed; if you use NO, the circuit closes. You fix the component with screws in the desired position, connect the wires according to your electrical diagram, and test the operation. No special tools are needed, just a standard screwdriver and attention to polarity.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
