How it works and how to install it
The CSA-003 limit switch is activated by pressing the metal ball-bearing roller, which triggers an electrical contact that stops the motor or automatic equipment. The roller is designed to detect moving objects with an accuracy of ±2 mm, and the 1.2 mm movement differential ensures fast and reliable disengagement. Installation is done by mounting it on a support with two screws through the dedicated holes, then connecting the cables through the included PG11 cable gland. The metal housing and IP65 protection rating allow outdoor mounting without additional protection.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
