How it works and how to install
The L2016 3W COB headlamp operates on 3 AAA R3 batteries (not included), which are inserted into the compartment at the back of the lamp body. Turning on and changing lighting modes is done via a single side button — one press changes the mode in sequence: full light, half power, strobe, off. The elastic strap is adjusted with the clip at the back and can be mounted on the head or helmet in seconds, without tools.

The ABS plastic body provides resistance to moisture and light splashing, making it suitable for ordinary outdoor conditions. It is not designed for immersion in water.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
