How it works and how to install
The work light with magnet does not require installation — insert the 3 AAA batteries into the compartment on the back of the body, close the lid, and press the red ON/OFF button. The magnets are positioned on the back of the body and activate by simply approaching any metal surface, and the hook folds manually into the desired position. No configuration or tools are required.

How strong is the magnet — does it hold on vertical surfaces?
The built-in magnets are sized for attachment to flat or slightly curved metal surfaces in a vertical position, suitable for car bodies, metal shelves, and engine hoods.
Can it be used in rain or wet conditions?
The flashlight is resistant to splashing and moisture during normal use, but it is not designed for submersion or prolonged exposure to water jets.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
