How it works and how to install it
The magnetic work light operates on 3 R6 AA batteries (AA type), which are inserted through the unscrewable cap at the base of the aluminum body. Press the ON/OFF button at the front end to cycle through the 4 modes: white 50%, white 100%, continuous red, flashing red. No installation required — you fix it on any metal surface with the integrated magnet or hold it in your hand; it's ready to use in seconds.

Are batteries included in the package?
No, the 3 R6 AA batteries are not included and must be purchased separately. They are standard batteries, available in any store.
Can it stay stuck to the car body while I'm working?
Yes, the magnet at the base of the body is strong enough to hold the flashlight on vertical or horizontal metal surfaces throughout the work.
Is it waterproof — can I use it in the rain or in wet conditions?
The flashlight is splash and moisture resistant, but it is not certified for submersion or immersion in water. It is suitable for outdoor use in light rain or in wet workshop environments.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
