The YT200 headlamp combines two light sources — a 10W COB LED for wide illumination and a 3W XPE LED for a focused beam — in a single lightweight device, controllable without touching buttons. The gesture sensor allows you to turn on and adjust the light with a simple hand movement, ideal when your hands are busy or dirty. With 5 lighting modes and a battery life of up to 8 hours, it covers hiking, camping, night fishing, repairs, and any activity requiring hands-free lighting.

How it works and how to install it
The headlamp is placed on the head using the adjustable elastic band and secured in seconds — no tools or complex adjustments are needed. It turns on with the On/Off button, and the sensor switch activates gesture control: a wave of the hand in front of the receiver changes the lighting mode without physical contact. Charging is done via the included USB-C cable, connected to any standard USB source.

How long does a full charge take and how long does the battery last?
Charging time is approximately 2-3 hours via USB-C. Battery life varies between 2.5 hours at maximum COB power (350 lm) and up to 8 hours in economic XPE 50% mode or intermittent mode.
Can I use the headlamp in the rain or wet conditions?
The headlamp has IPX4 protection, meaning it can withstand water splashes from any direction, but it is not designed for submersion or intense torrential rain.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
