The 6W COB LED lamp with magnet operates exclusively on batteries, so it requires no connection to the electrical grid. Installation takes less than a minute: insert the 4 AAA batteries, then stick the lamp to any metal surface using the integrated magnets, or permanently fix it with two screws through the holes in the casing. The switch on the front of the lamp turns the light on and off directly, without additional controls.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
