How it works and how to install
The light is powered exclusively by the 3 Li-ion 18650 batteries installed in the compartment on the back of the body. Charging is done via the included micro-USB cable, directly to any USB source, in approximately 3 hours. No installation is required — simply unfold the stand, adjust the desired angle, and turn it on with the waterproof switch on the back.

Can I use the light while it's charging?
No. Turning on the light while charging can permanently damage the LEDs. Wait for charging to complete before use.
Is it suitable for outdoor use, in rain or on dusty construction sites?
Yes, the casing is reinforced and shockproof, the corners are protected, and the switch is waterproof, making it suitable for wet and dusty environments. However, avoid submerging it in water.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
