How it works and how to install it
Monocrystalline solar panels capture sunlight during the day and automatically charge the LifePO4 batteries integrated into the floodlight. In the evening, the light sensor automatically activates the LEDs, or you can manually control the lighting and intensity using the RF remote control from a distance of up to 15 meters. Installation only requires fixing the solar panel facing South or Southwest and mounting the floodlight on a wall, fence, or pole, then connecting the two components with the included 3-meter cable. No technical knowledge is required; everything is assembled with the screws and dowels in the package in a maximum of 30 minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it illuminate at night after a full charge?
At maximum intensity (100%), approximately 8-10 hours. At 50% intensity, the duration increases to 12-14 hours. Full charging of the batteries requires 5-8 hours of direct solar exposure.
Can I extend the 3-meter cable between the panel and the floodlight?
We do not recommend extending the cable, as it increases electrical resistance and reduces charging efficiency, potentially leading to malfunction. The 3-meter cable is optimally sized for maximum performance.
Does it work in winter or on cloudy weather?
Yes, solar panels charge the batteries even on cloudy days, though with reduced efficiency. On sunny days, charging is complete. The system operates flawlessly between -45°C and +85°C, and LifePO4 batteries are specially designed for frost resistance.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
