How it works and how to install it
The sensor is positioned on the back of the mirror in the desired tactile area, the spot is marked, and it is attached with the double-sided adhesive tape from the package. You connect the input plug to the 12V power supply and the output plug to the LED strip. When you touch the front of the mirror corresponding to the sensor area, the circuit closes and the light turns on or off. The 18 cm cable length offers flexibility for routing behind the mirror.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
