How it works and how to install
The starter connects between the power source and the motor, with the control circuit operating at 230V AC. Pressing the green button activates the contactor and starts the motor, while the red button immediately cuts off power. The thermal relay continuously monitors the current and automatically interrupts the circuit if it detects an overload. Mounting is done by screw fixing on a DIN rail or directly on the wall, with ISO20 cable entries at the top and bottom for simple connection. Requires connection by an authorized electrician in accordance with safety regulations.

Can it be used for single-phase motors or only three-phase?
The product is designed for three-phase motors, but can also be adapted for single-phase by appropriate wiring; consult an electrician for the connection diagram.
What happens if the motor stalls or draws too much current?
The thermal relay automatically detects the current increase and cuts off power before the motor or installation is damaged, then needs to be reset manually.
Can I install this starter myself or do I need an electrician?
Installation requires knowledge of industrial electricity and compliance with safety standards; it is recommended to call an authorized electrician for correct and safe connection.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
