How it works and how to install it
The switch is mounted using a 4mm fixing thread on the gate frame or machine tool surface. When the moving object presses the roller on the rotary lever, the electrical contact is instantly activated, sending the stop or start signal to the control system. The lever can rotate to adapt to the direction of movement, and the rubber roller ensures contact without violent impact. Electrical connections are made via the rear terminals, according to your system's wiring diagram.

Yes, the rotary lever allows mounting and operation regardless of the direction of movement. You can adjust the mounting position so that the roller is pressed at the desired stopping point.
Is it weather-resistant or should it only be installed indoors?
This model is recommended for indoor installation or in protective enclosures, as it does not have IP certification for outdoor use. For outdoor automation, protect the device in a sealed enclosure.
How much force is needed to press the roller to activate the switch?
The actuation force is moderate, sufficient to avoid accidental activations, but does not require a strong impact. The rotating roller reduces friction and ensures quick switching.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
