How it works and how to install it
The switch is fixed to the stationary frame of the equipment using the two mounting holes. When the movable element (door, gate, machine table) presses the metal button by 2mm, the electrical contact instantly switches, sending the stop or start signal to the control system. Connection is made via the two AC15 terminals — one wire to common, the other to the control circuit. No advanced knowledge is required, just follow the correct polarization according to the equipment's electrical diagram.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
