How it works and how to install it
The switch is mounted on a wall or panel using its 4 fixing points, and cables are inserted through the sealed cable glands on the sides. The external handle operates the internal three-pole contact mechanism, allowing simultaneous disconnection of all 3 phases. The position indicator clearly shows whether the circuit is ON or OFF. Installation requires basic electrical knowledge — connect according to the diagram inside the cover, ensuring that the handle and the internal switch are in the same OFF position.

Can it stay outdoors all year round, even in winter or rain?
Yes, IP65 protection and UV-resistant material allow outdoor mounting without degradation. It resists humidity, dust, and temperatures between -25°C and +55°C.
Can it be used for a 7.5 kW three-phase motor?
Yes, the 35A capacity at 440V covers three-phase motors up to 15 kW in AC22A operation. Check your motor's nominal consumption before installation.
How do I know it's correctly and securely closed?
The cover locks with 4 screws — tighten uniformly until the sealing gasket is fully compressed around the entire perimeter. The cable glands must be tightened on the cable to maintain IP65.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
