How it works and how to install it
The switch opens in two parts, is positioned on the appliance's power cable at the desired distance, then closes by pressing until a locking click is heard. The internal contacts automatically penetrate the insulation and make the electrical connection. The ON/OFF button controls the circuit with a simple press — one press turns it on, the next press turns it off. No cable cutting, no special tools required, works immediately after installation.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
