How it works and how to install it
The switch has two independent buttons: green for start and red for stop. The thermal relay continuously monitors the consumed current. If the 15A threshold is exceeded, the relay automatically breaks the circuit, protecting the motor. Installation is done by screw-mounting into the control panel cutout, then connecting the cables according to the electrical diagram printed on the housing. The distance between holes is standard, and terminals are clearly marked for quick connection.

How do I reset the thermal relay after it trips?
Wait a few minutes for the motor to cool down, then press the red stop button and restart with the green button.
Can I use the switch outdoors?
Yes, the IP54 protection rating allows use in covered areas with exposure to dust and splashing, but not in direct rain.
What happens if my motor draws more than 15A?
The thermal relay will automatically cut off power to protect the system. Check if the motor is compatible with this capacity.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
