How it works and how to install it
The switch is mounted on the machine's control panel by screw-fixing it into the holes in the base. It is connected according to the wiring diagram to the 220V power supply and the electric motor terminals. The thermal relay detects the current increase during operation and automatically triggers shutdown when the value exceeds the safe threshold of 15-16A, thus protecting the motor winding from overheating. The red button forcibly stops the power, the green one starts the equipment, and the protective cover prevents accidental activation.

How do I know if the thermal relay has tripped?
When the relay detects an overload, the red button remains locked in the off position and the motor completely stops. After the motor cools down, you manually reset the button and can restart the machine.
Is it water and dust resistant in the workshop?
Yes, the IP55 protection rating ensures safe operation in environments with abundant dust and occasional water splashes, typical for workshops and construction sites.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
