How it works and how to install
The rubber foam gasket, 6mm high and 9mm wide, compresses when you close the window or door, creating a compact layer that completely blocks gaps where air or noise infiltrates. Installation only requires cleaning the surface with detergent and drying, then sticking the self-adhesive strip along the frame where the jamb closes. The adhesive strip on the back grips firmly to wood, PVC, aluminum, or painted metal surfaces.
After application, leave the gasket for 24 hours before intensive use for the adhesive to fully set. If adjustments are needed, you can easily trim the material with a utility knife or sharp scissors.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
