DH48S-S Digital Timer Controller for Precise Industrial Automation
This digital time relay with LED display offers precise control of electrical equipment in industrial, commercial, and agricultural applications. Programmable between 0.01 seconds and 9999 hours, the controller allows for complete automation of lighting, machinery, and irrigation systems. How it works and how to install it
The controller is mounted on the supplied socket in the electrical panel, connecting to the 220V power supply and the controlled equipment via the relay terminals. Time setting is done using the front buttons, first selecting the desired interval from the 13 available modes, then the exact value displayed on the LED. After starting, the relay switches automatically at the programmed intervals, allowing complete automation without manual intervention.

Can it control 220V LED bulbs directly, or do I need an additional relay?
It directly controls loads up to 5A at 220V AC, sufficient for most light bulbs and lighting circuits without an intermediate relay.
Can it be used for automating lighting in a greenhouse or garden?
Yes, it works excellently for controlling grow lights, programmed irrigation, or automatic ventilation, withstanding temperatures between -10°C and +50°C.
How precise is the timing, and does it become uncalibrated over time?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
