How it works and how to install it
The controller works by moving the lever to one of the two positions, each activating a separate NO contact that remains latched until the position is changed. Installation is done by inserting the body into the 22mm hole in the control panel and securing it with the included nut. Electrical connections are made via captive screw terminals that accept 2 x 1.5mm conductors, facilitating quick wiring without special tools.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
