How it works and how to install it
The contactor operates by electromagnetic switching of the 3 poles, allowing controlled starting and stopping of connected equipment. When the coil is energized with 220V, the contacts close and allow current to pass through the power circuit. When power is interrupted, the contacts automatically open, stopping the equipment.
Installation is done by mounting on a standard DIN rail in the electrical panel, using the screw fixing system. The control circuit is connected to the coil terminals (220V) and the power circuit to the main terminals (95A capacity). The three-phase configuration requires adherence to the electrical diagram and correct connection of the 3 phases.

Can it be used for single-phase motors or only three-phase?
The contactor is optimized for three-phase circuits, but can also be adapted for single-phase applications by appropriate use of the available terminals.
What is the maximum motor power this contactor can control?
At 380V three-phase, it can control motors up to approximately 45kW, depending on the specific characteristics of the motor and operating conditions.
Is periodic maintenance required?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
