32A 220V Contactor for Industrial and Residential Automation

How it works and how to install
The contactor is mounted on a standard DIN rail in the electrical panel. Connect the control coil to the 230V AC source, and the main contacts are connected to the power circuit that supplies the motor or equipment. When voltage is applied to the coil, the contacts close and allow current to flow through the main circuit. The 1NO and 1NC auxiliary contacts can be used for light signaling, interlocks, or secondary controls in complex automation schemes.

What is the maximum motor power I can control with this contactor?
The 32A contactor supports 3-phase motors up to 15kW at 380V. For single-phase installations or other voltages, check the load diagram in the product manual.
Can I use the contactor for home automation or just industrial?
It works perfectly in both environments. It is frequently used for water pumps for blocks, large heating systems, pumping stations, or residential heating automation.
Does it need additional thermal relays for protection?
The contactor does not offer integrated thermal protection. To protect the motor against prolonged overloads, we recommend installing a separate thermal relay, in accordance with installation standards.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
