The CMK-642 Push quick connector allows solid, stranded, and fine-stranded cables to be joined in a single motion, without a screwdriver or other tools. It is suitable for electrical installations in junction boxes, panels, or LED connections, where speed and connection safety are important. The transparent housing allows immediate visual inspection of the contact made.

How it works and how to install it
The CMK-642 Push connector uses an orange lever mechanism: lift the lever, insert the stripped conductor (11 mm length), then press the lever back down to lock the conductor. No tools are required, and the operation takes a few seconds per conductor. For removal or reuse, the lever is lifted again, releasing the conductor without damaging it.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
