How it works and how to install it
The connector uses an internal spring mechanism that firmly grips the conductor when you insert it into the corresponding hole. For installation, strip approximately 12-13mm of insulation from the end of the wire, insert the conductor into the appropriate hole until you feel resistance, then gently pull to check the grip. Removal is done by pressing the transparent lever and pulling the wire simultaneously. No electrician is required — anyone with minimal basic knowledge can make the connection in a few seconds.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the connector for aluminum wires or only copper?
The connector is compatible with copper and aluminum conductors, both solid and stranded, in the 2.5-6mm section. For stranded conductors, the use of terminal sleeves is recommended.
How easy is it to remove the wire once it's inserted?
The system allows disconnection by pressing the transparent lever. The spring releases the wire, allowing you to modify or correct the installation without damaging the connector or the conductor.
Can I use the connector in outdoor junction boxes or wet spaces?
The connector does not have declared IP protection and is recommended for use in standard electrical junction boxes or dry environments. For outdoor applications or wet areas, ensure it is in a suitable sealed box.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
