How it works and how to install it
The 90-degree elbow connector works by clamping the ends of the RGB LED strip into the two slots of the connector, each slot having 4 metal contacts that gently pierce the surface of the strip and establish the electrical connection. Installation requires no tools — you lift the locking clamp, insert the strip all the way, then press it back down to secure the contact. The central hole in the casing allows the connector to be fixed to the furniture surface with a screw, if you want a permanent and tidy installation.
Frequently asked questions
Does this connector also work with white LED strips or only with RGB ones?
This connector has 4 pins and is exclusively designed for 10mm RGB LED strips. Monochromatic white strips use 2-pin connectors, which are a separate product.
How well does the contact hold — will the strip not come out of the connector over time?
The locking mechanism keeps the strip firmly in place; however, if the installation is subjected to vibrations or repeated handling, it is recommended to additionally secure the connector with a screw through the central hole.
Can I use this connector for both 12V and 24V RGB LED strips?
Yes, the connector is compatible with both 12V and 24V RGB strips, as its role is exclusively mechanical and electrical, not conditioned by the supply voltage.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
