How it works and how to install
The connector operates on the principle of mechanical pressure contact: you open the transparent cover, insert the end of the 10mm LED strip into the marked slot, align the 3 pins with the contact pads of the strip, then close the cover until you hear a click. The 3 wires of the power or extension cable are inserted into the other side of the connector, after which the clamps are tightened. The entire operation takes less than a minute and requires no advanced technical knowledge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it compatible with 10mm RGB LED strips?
The 3-pin connector is not compatible with standard RGB strips that require 4 pins. It is intended for 3-conductor strips, such as CCT (tunable white) strips or single-color channel 10mm strips.
Can I use this connector outdoors or in the bathroom?
Yes, the IP65 protection class allows use in environments exposed to water splashes and dust, but it is not recommended for complete immersion in water.
Can I reconnect the strip if I positioned it incorrectly?
Yes, the connector is reusable — the transparent cover can be opened, and the strip can be re-extracted and reinserted correctly without damaging the components.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
