How it works and how to install it
The capacitor accumulates electrical energy and releases it suddenly when the motor starts, providing the necessary impulse to overcome initial inertia. Connections are made via 4 male spade terminals, and fixing to the support is done with the included screw and nut. Installation takes less than 10 minutes and does not require advanced electrical knowledge — follow the wiring diagram in the appliance manual you are equipping.

Is it compatible with my motor if it has a different rated voltage?
The capacitor operates at 400V, 450V, and 500V AC. Check the motor label — if the voltage falls within this range, the product is compatible.
How often should the capacitor be replaced?
At 450V, it has an effective operating life of 3000 hours. In normal household use, this means several years of trouble-free operation.
Can I mount the capacitor outdoors?
Yes, if the ambient temperature remains between -40°C and +85°C and you protect it from direct moisture. For humid environments, we recommend additional encapsulation.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
