How it works and how to install it
The capacitor creates a current phase shift necessary for starting single-phase induction motors. When connected to the mains, it accumulates electrical energy and releases it instantly to generate the initial rotational torque. Installation requires switching off the power supply, disconnecting the old capacitor, and connecting the terminals of the new capacitor according to the motor's wiring diagram — the 4 faston terminals are secured manually or with pliers, without special tools. Important: discharge any old capacitor before handling by connecting the terminals through a power resistor.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
