How it works and how to install it
The switch connects to the 2.4GHz home WiFi network via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, available for free on Android and iOS. It is installed in the switch's flush box or behind the light fixture, placed between the phase cable and the consumer. After WiFi configuration in the app, the device appears on your phone and can be controlled instantly, scheduled, or integrated with voice assistants like Google Home or Amazon Alexa.

Does it need a separate hub or gateway to function?
No, it connects directly to the 2.4GHz home WiFi network, without additional equipment. Only the free mobile app is needed.
Can I control multiple devices from the same app?
Yes, you can add as many switches as you want to the app and manage them individually or in groups, from the same account.
Does it work even if the internet goes down or I'm out of the country?
If the internet is working, remote control works from anywhere. Without internet, you can use the physical switch manually, but not the app.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
