How it works and how to install it
The clock is powered either by the included USB cable connected to any phone charger, or by 3 AAA batteries. After connecting, set the time using the buttons on the top, configure the alarm, and adjust the light intensity to 2 available levels. The automatic sensor reduces display brightness at night between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM, then returns to the initial setting. The thermometer automatically displays the room temperature without additional settings.
Frequently asked questions
Can the clock work without batteries if I keep it connected to USB?
Yes, USB power is independent, and the clock functions completely without batteries. Batteries are only necessary for autonomous operation or as a backup in case of a power outage.
How large is the display and is it visible at night?
The display is 170mm wide with red LED digits visible even from a distance. At night, the brightness automatically reduces for comfort, but the time remains perfectly legible.
Can I set different alarms for weekdays?
The clock allows setting a single alarm that can be manually activated or deactivated. It does not have a function for multiple alarms scheduled for specific days.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
