The red LED digital clock with a mirror-type surface combines the functionality of a complete alarm clock with a compact design, suitable for a nightstand, desk, or shelf. The large display with red digits ensures excellent readability even in low light conditions, and automatic intensity adjustment during nighttime hours protects your sleep. It can be powered via USB or batteries, making it independent of a fixed outlet.

How it works and how to install
The red LED digital clock is ready for use right out of the box: connect the included USB-DC cable to any standard 5V phone charger (not included) or insert 3 AAA batteries into the back compartment. Setting the time, alarm, and date is done via the four buttons on the back panel — Down, Up, Mode, and Alarm — according to the manual included in the package. No physical installation is required; simply place it on any flat surface.
Frequently asked questions
Does the clock also work without an outlet, only on batteries?
Yes, it operates completely on 3 AAA 1.5V R3 batteries, without any cable connected. The USB-DC cable is an alternative, not a requirement.
Does the red light disturb sleep at night if someone is in the room?
The clock automatically reduces display intensity between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM, so the light is not intrusive during sleep. You also have the option to manually select the desired brightness level.
What charger should I use for USB power?
Any standard charger with 5V output and a USB connector, such as those common for phones or tablets. The charger is not included in the package, but the USB to DC 1.3mm cable is provided.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
