How it works and how to install
The digital mirror clock is placed on any horizontal surface and is powered by the included USB-DC cable, connected to any standard phone charger with a USB output (not included), or by 3 AAA batteries inserted into the back compartment. The buttons on the top of the case — DOWN, UP, LIGHT/SNOOZE, MODE, and ALARM — allow you to set the time, alarm, and display mode in seconds, without tools or complicated configuration. The ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the display brightness during the set night interval.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
