How it works and how to install
The clock is powered in two ways: either via the included USB cable connected to any phone adapter or USB port, or by 4 AA batteries providing weeks of autonomy. Setting the time, alarm, and date is quick using the 5 buttons on the back panel, and the Romanian manual guides every step. The integrated sound sensor detects sound and automatically turns on the display for 8 seconds, saving energy when you're not looking at the clock. The CR2032 memory battery retains settings even if the main power supply is interrupted.

Is the red LED visible at night or does it disturb sleep?
The display has 3 adjustable brightness levels, and with the sound sensor activated, it remains off at night until a clap, then automatically turns off.
How long do the batteries last if I don't use it plugged in?
With 4 AA batteries and economy mode activated, the clock works for 2-4 months depending on the frequency of display activation via the sensor.
Does it also display ambient temperature or just the time?
Yes, the integrated thermometer measures and displays room temperature in Celsius, alternating automatically with the time or according to the selected mode.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
