How it works and how to install it
The clock is powered by a 5V adapter included in the package, which you connect to a standard outlet. The LED display permanently shows the time in 12H format with AM/PM indicator, the date with day/month/year, the day of the week, and the indoor temperature measured in Celsius degrees. Setting the parameters is simple using the buttons on the front panel: SET for menu entry, SHIFT for navigation, MODIFY for adjusting values, and ALARM for activating the alarm. The clock can be placed on a desk using the foldable stand on the back or mounted on a wall using the integrated mounting holes.

Is the display clear even in daylight?
Yes, the blue LEDs have sufficient brightness for good visibility in all lighting conditions, including bright natural light during the day.
Does the time remain set if the power is interrupted?
No, the clock does not have a backup battery. Upon power resumption, the time and date must be reconfigured, but the process takes less than a minute.
How loud is the alarm in the morning?
The alarm emits a medium-volume sound, sufficient to wake you up in a normal room, but not extremely powerful for very deep sleepers.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
