5M optical audio cable for interference-free digital signal
The 5-meter optical audio cable transmits the digital audio signal via optical fiber with an internal glass tube, completely eliminating the electromagnetic interference specific to conventional cables. It is the right solution for connecting TVs, surround receivers, and gaming consoles to audio systems with Toslink input. How it works and how to install it
The optical audio cable transmits the signal through light pulses propagated in the glass fiber inside, which means there is no electrical contact between the source and the receiver and, implicitly, no risk of interference with other devices. Installation is simple: insert the Toslink connector into the optical out port of the source (TV, console, DVD player) and the connector at the other end into the optical in port of the audio system or receiver. No tools or specific technical knowledge are required.

Does the optical cable work with any TV or only with some models?
It works with any TV or equipment that has a Toslink port (optical audio out). Check for the presence of this port on the back or side of your device before purchasing.
Can I connect PS4 or Xbox to a 5.1 surround system with this cable?
Yes, PS3 and PS4 consoles have Toslink optical output and are fully compatible with this cable. Xbox One and later versions no longer include an optical port on the console, but can use separate adapters.
Is there a difference in sound quality compared to a regular audio cable?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
