The cable is delivered on a reel and cut to the desired length with cable cutters or a utility knife. No special tools are required, and the multi-layer construction is visually clear, with each layer having a distinct role: shielding, mechanical insulation, and signal conduction.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
