The MYYUP 2x1mm cable is positioned directly on wall surfaces or in cable ducts, its flat profile reducing visibility and simplifying fastening with clamps or staples. The differently colored conductors (blue and brown) allow quick identification of polarities at terminal connections, eliminating the risk of reversal. No special tools are required — it can be cut with ordinary pliers and connected to a terminal block or directly to the powered accessory.

It is not recommended for use in high humidity conditions or outdoors, as the TM2 type PVC sheath is designed for indoor installations without exposure to water.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
