How it works and how to install
The button operates with a momentary mechanical action — when pressed, it closes or opens the circuit (depending on the NO or NC pins used), and when released, it returns to its initial position. Installation is done by drilling a 30mm hole in the panel, inserting the button, and securing it with the M30 threaded nut from the back — an operation that can be completed in a few minutes with a wrench. The blue 6-pin connector (2 for LED, 4 for contacts) attaches directly to the terminals on the back of the button, without soldering.

Can I use this button at 12V instead of 24V?
The LED is rated for 24V, so at 12V, the illumination will be significantly weaker or non-existent. For 12V, the specific 12V model is recommended.
What diameter should I mill in the panel for mounting?
A 30mm hole is required. The button body's thread is M30, and the mounting depth is 40mm.
Does the button stay pressed or does it return on its own after actuation?
This model has momentary action — after each press, the button releases automatically, without locking its position.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
