How it works and how to install
The 25mm push button is mounted in a 25mm hole (M25 thread) by screwing it from the back with the included nut. Connection is made via the 6 pins: red wire to the positive pole of the LED, black to negative, green to the common pin (C), blue to NO (normally open) and yellow to NC (normally closed). Depending on the desired scheme, the LED can be configured to light permanently or only when the button is pressed, following the provided wiring diagrams.

Does the button work directly at 12V without an additional resistor?
Yes, the button is designed to work natively in the 9-30V range, so at 12V or 24V, it connects directly, without additional components.
What is the difference between NO and NC connection?
In NO (normally open) mode, the circuit closes only as long as you press the button. In NC (normally closed) mode, the circuit is closed at rest and interrupts when pressed. The choice depends on your application's logic.
Is the button water resistant if I mount it outdoors?
Yes, the rubberized gasket and metal body provide IP67 protection, meaning resistance to temporary immersion in water — suitable for outdoor mounting or in humid environments.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
