How it works and how to install it
The 22mm push button is mounted in a 22mm hole (M22 thread) by front insertion and secured with the nut from the back — an operation achievable in a few minutes with a spanner. Connection is made via the included 5-wire socket: red wire for positive LED, black wire for negative LED, green wire for common pin (C), blue wire for NO (normally open), and yellow wire for NC (normally closed). The LED can be configured to light up only when pressed or to remain permanently lit, depending on the scheme chosen according to the diagram in the package.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
