How it works and how to install
The BA45 push button works by direct pressing: when actuated, it closes (NO) or opens (NC) the controlled circuit, and upon release, the internal spring returns the button to its initial position. Mounting is done in a 22mm cutout in the control panel — insert the button from the front, tighten the fixing ring from the back, and connect the wires to the screw terminals of the contact block. It does not require special tools and can be installed by any authorized electrician in just a few minutes.

What is the difference between the NO and NC versions?
The NO (normally open, ZB2-BE101) version has the circuit open at rest and closes it when pressed; the NC (normally closed, ZB2-BE102) version has the circuit closed at rest and opens it when pressed. Choose NO for starting and NC for stopping or protection functions.
Can this button be mounted directly on the electrical panel of a hydrophone or pump?
Yes, the button supports 10A at 400V, which covers most household and semi-industrial pumps and hydrophones. Check the absorbed current of the motor before mounting.
What hole diameter should I make in the panel for mounting?
A circular hole with a diameter of 22mm is required, standard for the XB2 series. The included tightening ring ensures mounting on panels with a thickness of up to approximately 5mm.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
