How it works and how to install it
The BD23 button operates by rotating the selector between two fixed positions — ON and OFF — with a locking mechanism to maintain the selected position. The NO (normally open) contacts close upon switching, activating the connected electrical circuit. Installation is done by cutting a 22mm hole in the electrical panel, inserting the button, and securing it with the included lock nut. Electrical connections are made to the 4 screw terminals, according to the electrical diagram of the installation. Installs in maximum 15 minutes, no advanced experience required.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
