How it works and how to install it
The button works by a simple press: the first press activates the circuit and locks the button in the ON position, the second press stops the circuit and unlocks the button. Installation is done by inserting the body into the 22mm hole in the control panel, then securing it with the included tightening nut. Connection is made via the 1NO and 1NC terminals on the rear side, according to the electrical diagram of the controlled equipment. The entire operation takes a maximum of 10 minutes and a screwdriver.

Can I use the button for emergency stopping of a three-phase electric motor?
Yes, the button controls the contactor that powers the three-phase motor, not the motor directly. It connects to the 220V control circuit of the contactor.
What do 1NO and 1NC mean for the contact type?
1NO is a normally open contact that closes when pressed, 1NC is a normally closed contact that opens when pressed. The button provides both contacts simultaneously, allowing for flexible configurations.
Does the button stay locked in position or does it need to be held down?
It automatically stays locked in the chosen position by a latching mechanism — it does not require manual holding. To return, press again to unlock.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
