How it works and how to install
The rocker switch is fixed into the panel opening using a snap-in clip. Connect the cables to the 4 contacts according to the diagram (clearly marked on the back), then secure the contacts with screws. When the button is pressed to the ON (I) position, the green LED illuminates and current flows to the equipment. The OFF (0) position completely cuts off the power. The rubber protection is mounted over the button and ensures IP54 sealing.

Yes, the rubber protection offers splash resistance, but do not submerge the button and protect it from direct exposure to rain.
What size hole should I make in the panel for mounting?
The standard hole size is 30x22mm for this KCD4 model; check before cutting.

Yes, at 220V and 16A, you can control loads up to 3500W, so a 2kW motor falls within the limits.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
