How it works and how to install it
The terminal block distributes electrical current from a main cable to multiple secondary circuits through a screw terminal system. You insert the input cable into the upper terminals and the output cables into the lower terminals, tighten them firmly with a screwdriver according to the diagram on the casing, then secure the block to the DIN rail in the panel. The entire operation takes less than 10 minutes and does not require specialized tools — just a screwdriver and a voltage tester for verification.
Frequently asked questions
Can I connect more wires than the number of available terminals?
No, strictly adhere to the configuration: 1 x 16mm² input and a maximum of 6 outputs (2x16mm² + 4x6mm²). Overloading the terminals creates faulty contact and fire risk.
Is it mandatory to use a 16mm² cable for the input?
Not mandatory, but recommended to utilize the 80A capacity. You can also use 10mm² if your installation does not exceed 60A total.
Does the block heat up during normal operation?
At nominal current below 80A and properly tightened connections, heating is minimal. If you feel excessive heat, check the screw tightness and cable cross-section.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
