How it works and how to install
The tape has a strong adhesive on one side, protected by a film. Clean and completely dry the surface where you apply the tape, then gradually remove the protective film and press the tape onto the joint, along the junction between the sink and the countertop or between the bathtub and the tiles. The silicone material molds perfectly to corners and allows for easy adjustments before final adhesion. No drying or waiting time is required — the seal is functional immediately after application.

Is the tape resistant to permanent moisture and detergents?
Yes, the silicone material is resistant to water, bathroom and kitchen detergents, and prevents mold formation in the joint, ensuring long-term protection.
Can it be applied over an old silicone joint?
We recommend completely removing the old silicone and cleaning the surface with alcohol for maximum adhesion. The tape adheres optimally to clean and dry surfaces.
How difficult is it to remove the tape if I want to replace it?
The tape can be removed relatively easily by gently heating it with a hairdryer and slowly pulling. Any adhesive residue can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
