How it works and how to install
The tape has strong adhesive on its reverse, protected by a film that is removed during application. Clean and completely dry the surface where you will apply the tape, measure the required length, and cut the tape to size. Remove the adhesive protection, position the tape on the joint or seam, and press firmly along its entire length. Application takes less than 10 minutes per surface, without tools or special skills.

How well does the tape hold on wet surfaces or on tiles?
The tape adheres excellently to clean and dry surfaces — ceramic, glass, porcelain, enamel. For maximum durability, ensure the surface is degreased and perfectly dry before application.
Can it be removed if I want to change it after a few years?
Yes, the tape can be peeled off manually or with the help of a plastic spatula. Adhesive residues can be removed with isopropyl alcohol or degreaser.
Is it resistant to mold and cleaning with detergents?
The silicone material resists constant humidity and ordinary bathroom detergents. It is easier to maintain than liquid silicone, but regular cleaning is recommended to prevent deposits.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
