How it works and how to install it
The tape is made of soft, flexible rubber with an adhesive layer on the back. Before applying, thoroughly clean and dry the surface where you will stick the tape. Unroll the tape, remove the protective sheet, and press firmly along the entire length of the joint. For corners, the tape folds easily at 90 degrees without cracking. If the length exceeds what's needed, cut off the excess with ordinary scissors. The entire operation takes a few minutes and does not require special tools.

Does it stick to wet surfaces or do they need to be dry?
The surface must be completely clean and dry for maximum adhesion. Wipe the area with alcohol and allow it to dry before application.
How resistant is the tape to heat from the hob or hot water?
The tape withstands normal use temperatures in the kitchen and bathroom, including hot water from the sink or bathtub. It should not be mounted directly on continuously heated surfaces.
If I want to remove it, will it leave adhesive marks on the countertop or tiles?
The tape can be removed without damaging the surface. Any adhesive residue can be easily wiped away with alcohol or a degreasing detergent.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
