How it works and how to install it
The LED Neon Flex strip uses densely mounted LEDs in a silicone profile that diffuses light uniformly, eliminating the discrete dot effect specific to classic LED strips. The included power supply connects directly to a 220V outlet, and the strip can be fixed to surfaces with clips or double-sided adhesive. Shaping into desired forms is done manually, at room temperature, without heating or special tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this LED neon flex strip outdoors, in the rain?
Yes, IP65 protection allows use in spaces exposed to splashing and humidity, including covered terraces or facades. However, it is not intended for immersion in water.
Can the strip be cut to a length shorter than 5 meters?
The Neon Flex strip can only be cut at the cutting points marked by the manufacturer, at fixed intervals. Cutting elsewhere can damage the seal and the electrical circuit.
Is the power supply included in the package or does it need to be purchased separately?
The set is complete and includes the appropriate power supply — no additional purchase is necessary for operation.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
