The COB LED strip with 528 LEDs per meter offers uniform, warm-white light without visible dots or shadows, ideal for ambient lighting in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and stairs. COB (Chip-on-Board) technology distributes light across the entire surface of the strip, eliminating the grainy effect typical of classic SMD strips. With 5 meters per roll and included double-sided adhesive, this strip quickly adapts to any flat or curved surface.

How it works and how to install
The COB LED strip operates on 12V DC current and requires a compatible transformer (power supply), purchased separately or together with the strip. Installation is straightforward: cut the strip at the indicated marks, peel off the protective film from the 3M adhesive, and apply it to a clean, dry surface — aluminum profile, cabinet, ceiling, or stair. Connection to the power supply is made via the terminals at the end of the strip, without special tools.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
